Our Team

Mary B. Chamberlin

Mary is a lifelong Lynchburg resident who has practiced law in Lynchburg since 2016. She is a graduate of Jefferson Forest High School and Central Virginia Community College’s Early College Program.

Mary holds her undergraduate degree in Global Justice and Foreign Policy, cum laude, from James Madison University and her juris doctor (J.D.) from the University of Richmond School of Law. She is a qualified guardian at litem for children in the 24th Judicial District of Virginia, a member of the Lynchburg Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Improvement Team, and currently serves as the secretary of the Lynchburg Bar Association. Her professional awards include being recognized by Central Virginia Business Magazine as a Top 20 under 40 Professional in 2024, and the 2025 Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance Millennial on the Move.

In 2025, after nearly a decade working at regional firms in Lynchburg, Mary founded Chamberlin Law PC.

Mary has guest lectured in the areas of family law, adoption, child dependency law, and guardian ad litem practice in a number of settings. When Mary is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two cats.
